We are pleased to inform you that the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Built Environment, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) will be organizing the 16th Malaysian Universities Transport Research Forum Conference (MUTRFC 2024). The conference's objective is to provide a conducive atmosphere for fruitful interaction among scientists and engineers from academia and industry. MUTRFC is a biennial event except for the last three years it was held annually. MUTRFC is a jointly organized event by rotation among universities in Malaysia. This year, the theme “Sustainable Transport and Sustainable Cities: Enhancing Mobility and Livability” expresses a wide range of issues and developments to be discussed at this conference.
The 16th MUTRFC 2024 is jointly organized by the Smart Driving Research Center (SDRC), Spatial Technology for Civil Engineering (STforCE), the Transportation Science Society of Malaysia (TSSM), and Universitas Mercu Buana, Indonesia. This conference will take place from 6 – 7 October 2024. Researchers and academics are cordially invited to share their knowledge, experience, and insights on the design, analytics, investigations, analysis, planning, operation, engineering, coordination, and management of transport systems and their impacts.
The 16th Malaysian Universities Transport Research Forum Conference (MUTRFC) 2024 is an ONLINE event; conference. MUTFRC 2024 is a platform that brings together researchers, and academician from multi-disciplines to showcase their cutting-edge products and ideas.

All accepted papers will be published under Open Access in the proceedings in the Journal Recent Trend in Civil Engineering and Built Environment (RTCEBE) indexed by Google Scholar. While, selected papers will be offered for publication in the Journal of Techno Social (JTS) and the Journal of Science and Technology (JST) indexed by MyCite.

The paper must be original and sent in Microsoft Office Word, Open Office or RTF document file format.

The paper must be written in English within 8-12 single-spaced pages, including an abstract, references, tables, figures, and appendices. Additional pages will be subject to additional cost.

Abstracts without the complete paper will NOT be accepted.

Final paper have to be submitted for publication after review process.

Final paper submitted after the given deadline or unresponsiveness from author during review process might cause article to be rejected and NO REFUND will be processed.

Presenters will have to upload their pre-recorded presentation video with the durations between 3-5 minutes that may be used when in need (e.g. line interruptions) during the presentation time slot. Please refer to the following attachment for requirements and instructions while preparing the presentation video (Download here). The link for video submission will be given via email to the respective corresponding author by 30th September 2024.
